Configuring Quadrant for Self Scheduling

Self Scheduling on Quadrant Self Service allows employees to go online to select shifts outside of their standard hours or shifts. Before you can begin to use Web based Self Scheduling, several configuration steps must be completed in Quadrant. If your organization is new to Quadrant scheduling functionality, a scheduling Org Level must be created and designated as the default scheduling Org Level. An Org Detail must be configured for each unit that you want to identify for scheduling purposes. Every position in your organization must be associated with an Org Detail, also known as a unit, if you want it to be available for scheduling. Shift types, for example weekend, evening, and day or evening off shifts must be configured. Shift activities must be associated with shift types. Finally, shift types must be associated with units, and units must be attached to Scheduling Teams.
